Annehurst resident, Specialist Seth Duhl, is serving with the US Army's 10th Mountain, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4-31st Infantry and just returned from serving in Iraq. This is a photo (LEFT) of Seth in Sadaam's chair in his palace---every soldier serving in Iraq probably has a picture like this!

SEAMUS GOGGIN
Seamus Goggin, an Annehurst resident made a commitment last year to do something greater than himself and joined the Marines. Seamus went to Boot Camp in October and graduated in January. He has been through several training evolutions over the past six months since boot camp. He joined the 4th Battalion, 3rd Marines, 25th Regiment, Lima Company.
He joins several other Annehurst Marines in Lima Company, past and present. Dan Borkros and Brandon Mincer are also set to deploy with Seamus.
Lima company got their orders to deploy to Afghanistan on May 11th, and the company has been in California training. They leave at the end of August.
Annehurst Village residents wish these Marines the best. |
