Fundraising
The Annehurst Fundraising Committee is thrilled to share the success of our first fundraising event! Thanks to the generosity and support of our incredible community, we raised an impressive $4,945 through our silent auction and raffle prizes. These funds will go toward essential pool updates and repairs. As we look ahead, we will reconvene in the spring to explore new fundraising opportunities to keep our pool in top shape. Stay tuned for more ways to get involved—your support makes all the difference!” If you have fundraising ideas, or if you would like to be directly involved, please email Whitney Shelton at: morrison.whitney@gmail.com
Pool Update
Annehurst Pool Update: During the 2024 season the roof was replaced on the pump/storage building. The Columbia Gas line was replaced (no cost to AVRA) from the street to the building. New filters, a backup pump and motor were also purchased. Before opening this 2025 season, we are installing a new roof for the main building and finally getting a new heater system. We’ll get the new filters, and a second pump installed. A replacement diving board is also in the work.
As an Annehurst Village Resident, how can you help? We need volunteers for smaller projects around the pool, painting, R&R flooring, and plumbing. Let us know if you can help.
NO INCREASE! – Pool membership fees are the same as last year. Members may also purchase guest passes and snack cards. The forms are included in this mailing. If you pay for your membership before April 30, 2025, you will receive a $20.00 snack card.
If you would like to help with any of these efforts, please contact the AVRA Board of Trustees.
We are proud of the gem that is Annehurst Village. We look forward to continuing to build the vibrant, family-friendly, active neighborhood that we call “home.” If you have questions, ideas or want to learn more about how you can actively support your neighborhood, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the AVRA Board of Trustees.
